Use

Modular and flexible optics allow the adaptation of a laser beam for the applications of laser hardening, welding and cladding. Both the output power and laser irradiation characteristics make this laser system highly suitable for these applications. Sensitive adjustments of the output power, in combination with flexible geometrical and energetic beam distribution, make it possible to process components with various shapes and sizes.

UCI hardness tester

Use

Quick hardness testing of hardened, coated or tempered materials and surfaces, thin-walled materials (pipes), weld hardness gradients, hard-to-reach spots, cogs etc.

Method of measurement

Digital UCI (Ultrasonic Contact Impedance) method employing modified Vickers penetration.

Calibration

The tester can be easily calibrated according to the modulus of elasticity of a given material.
